the only thing is the 5 tons are alot heavier and i am going to be racing this thing at some of the local events so i am trying to keep it under 5000lbs..but i will def keep that place in mind its the first i heard about that company

whats a duece steer axle weigh? i haven't got my 5 tonners back together and on a scale yet but i'd estimate they'll weigh in between 550 - 600 a piece.

i shaved some weight on them and havent got them on a scale either but i i know the center is about 200lbs

that sounds about right. I'm putting the chunk on a 5 ton around 250lbs

Michelin xzl 16.00r20. Thats 16 wide 53 tall on a 20 rim!

building mine for rock crawling things of that nature. Ill be keeping my cg as low as possible while still having 20" ground clearance at the diffs.

ya i am building another ranger for crawling but here in florida there isnt to much crazy stuff so its only got dana 44 front and rear out of a wagoneer with chromoly shafts and 37's

What are you planning for suspension on this? I know you're linking it... coilovers?

i want it different from all the trucks around here so i am doing radius arm front and rear with ballistics new hybrid coilover/air shocks.. hopefully they give me a good deal on them since they are new and we are a dealer for them now.
