Jesus the LTBs went up in price, mine were $600 for all 4! I think you have the right idea with 3" BS. Stick with an 8" wide rim too.

I found some 34x10.50 ltbs with about 85% tread on craigslist. hopefully the guy still has them...

Picking up 4 near new 34x10.50 ltbs on friday for $400

They are mounted on some 15'' jeep CJ wheels I will try and sell and get some money back, then sell my old tires. Hopefully might only end up spending $200 for them

Yep, not my first choice but it was what the craigslist gods gave me. I might be trading for some 33x11.5 thornbirds they will work better with the wheels

I picked up those tires tonight! They have more tread on them than I expected, even still has the super swamper lettering on the big lugs! I will take some pics tomorrow in the light.

I rolled them up to the truck, I might have to cut some of the fenders; the rear front mostly, but I prolly won't be mounting them for a couple weeks. I want to get wheels with my next paycheck.

Well I woke up early today to get the tires dismounted off the jeep wheels so I can put them up for sale. I spend $20 and get them dismounted then I go to wash the wheels. I was told when I bought them they were 5x5.5 pattern from an old jeep cj. I see a little tag and what does it say?

5x4.5! lol

Then I brake out the measuring tape

3.75 backspacing!


I am not sure if I measure outside the wheel lips for width, my guess is inside and its 8''s...

So yeah you could use those wheels but they have a lot of backspace, those tires are like 95%! Good score!
