Gt-12

for those that like to keep track of such things, this header when done will be made from 58 seperately fitted and welded pieces.

Damn, thats amazing. You definitely have more patience and skill then I do. :icon_surprised:

patience is pretty important to building something like this, but it's also important to any sort of build.it's what keeps us from rushing things, and we all know how rushed jobs turn out.

skill just comes from doing things.the more things you try that you don't know how to do,the more skill you'll gain.

Once the secondaries are welded together will the header still be able to be removed? easily? Seems kinda tight to me..

it's tight, but it comes out.there's one mounting stud that has to be removed from the block to get it to clear.

Like your work on the headers. If I ever attempt building any, I will remember your techniques.

Getting anxious to see the finished product now...

one thing to keep in mind is that very few will have to deal with something as complicated as these.but still, the basic system is the same.

i remember being told before that when your building headers that all the runners should be the same length is there any truth to that or is it another wivestale?

Now that's a nice bunch of bananas. You know I think you would have had room to throw a couple of turbos in there after all. I'm joking, really!

Equal length runners are the ideal situation, length and diameter also playing into the equasion. In this particular situation it would be virtually impossible and with the rediculous power to weight of this thing it will not make a lot of difference.

like martin said,it can make a small difference,as long as the runner length is kept to a very specific amount,as well as other factors.

the extra effort would be wasted in this case.

Damn near time for the side pipes! I'm almost giddy!

I'm going to start a mass email with a link to this thread in it. The email will be titled "If Chuck Norris built a car..."
