Project Street 1.0 (revisited)

plus we mounted the e-fan today...damn thing cover the whole face!
Project Street 1.0 (revisited)

Tomorrow we'll wire up the fan...fire it and let it idle to see how cool it stays (hopefully before i start my first day at Domino's!!)

well we started the truck up yesterday for tuning...the back 2 plugs were alittle rich might have been the over advanced timing plus running rich obvisouly... so we're gonna re-position the plug wire on the cap cuz the vaccum cansiter on the distributor is hitting the radiator hose...the E-fan works great...kept the temps at 185* for ever...but then noticed some loud rockers on driver sides and a malfunctioning tach (it hesatates). so we'll fix that tomorrow!...:yahoo:

frustation!

well the rocker arms are still louder then usually after being adjusted and the tach dosen't work worth a piss! can anyone explain why the tach would come up to 1000rpm but not move when revved? timing is fixed, and need a new battery (won't charge) luckly i have a job at domino's now so money is coming in for MORE PARTS.

Thank you

I wanna say thanks to TRS member "BONES i think it was for giving us this idea!:icon_thumby:

I you haven't notice the parking lights are behind the grille!:headbang:

we might fill the old hole up and smooth it or put some powerful hi-beam lights there...i vote fill the hole but that requires convincing some over here!!

sweet

Transfered the title to my name a few days ago and got me a B&M Z gate shifter from Autozone today..it was a clearence sale so it was only $99, should get it on tomorrow. Then just need to cut the driveshaft and get a new battery and it's on the road!:yahoo:

got the shifter installed last week...kind of a pain!

got driveshaft back from machine shop...was shortend 2 1/2" and is being painted...(rust preventive). dad went and got some new front calipers and shoes/pads all around...next is a battery and replace windshield cuz a softball crack right at eye level. then time to cruz around the block to get a feel for it!

Reconditioned the gauges today cuz everyone knows how faded they can get...the volt, water, oil needles were basically white!:icon_bounceblue:

Sweet

after a week or two of searching we finally got the correct slip yoke for the little ranger:headbang:...$110 for the yoke and new spicer joint...a bit on the pricey side but we all have to make sacrifices.:bawling:
Project Street 1.0 (revisited)

If anyone else is doing this kinda of swap...When it comes to slip yokes find a C-4 yoke with 1310 series joint so it'll go right in place of the driveshaft like mine did

Would you happen to be talking about the metal lord himself Dimebag?

nice...hey if you think it looked good then, it's a bit cleaner looking now, plus i'll be getting some chrome goodies to dress it up...like pulleys, alternator brackets, distributor hold down...a second valve breather, Ford logo air cleaner wing nut, Lokar throttle cable yada yada

I know i can get a little cleaner...the driver side has a vacuum gage on the booster and the window washer tubing is just hanging there for now...it's will get better as time progresses

Coming along nicely! But do something about all those loose and brightly colored wires...they're taking away from the badass-ness that is your engine/spark wires.
