Gt-12

Along these lines, what would be pretty sweet is if you had clear plastic in place of metal for the floor boards around the driveshaft area so you could see it spinning and watch the road below.

ya,that would be neat, but in critical areas like that i kinda trust metal more.:icon_welder:

working on getting the brakes operating now,the stock pedal is being used.

the stock master, while what i wanted to use is just too hard to find parts for,so i had to look at other choices.
the top one is a ranger/explorer unit, but has two problems.it's too long, and it mounts level.the gt master mounts at an upward angle.
the middle unit is from a 2000 cougar, and is short enough and mounts on the same angle as the gt unit(bottom)so it looks like this is what i'll use.

this pic illustrates why length is an issue with mounting the master.the ranger one just won't fit between the bracket and the firewall.

in other news,i also got the first layer of gel coat sprayed on the headlight cover forms today.i'll sand them out tomorrow and see if they need a second coat.

The nose of this beast is going to look amazing!

The nose of this beast is going to look amazing!

i sure as hell hope so.with the amount of time that's gone into it,plus what's still coming,i'm really starting to wonder about my sanity.

ok,nevermind.

Crazy like the rest of us:D

and that is??

I want to know as well.

The only thing that could possibly make this vehicle more epic would be if Adriana Lima was sitting in the passenger seat.

You can't just tease us like that, Tom. What's coming?!?

I wish you guys wouldn't ask him questions like that. His imagination runs faster at idle than most of ours do at full throttle.

and that is??

actually i was just referring to all the work still to be done on the hood to get it done:icon_twisted:
i figure theres probably 50 or so hours left on the hood alone before it's ready for paint.then there's the rest of the car.

it's a good thing i don't have a social life....i'd never be able to build something like this.

oh. ok. so... Any progress on the ranger? :thefinger:

I've gotta start keeping better track of this. I just spent an hour and a half going through it lol.
