now that's a bit of a stretch...

it was the very definition of 'piece of crap'......i guess every stone has a diamond in it if you are willing to polish it long enough:icon_thumby:

Did you watch Mythbusters turn crap into 'diamonds', looked like a new cue ball when they were done.

ya,that was pretty funny-better them than me.

now that's a bit of a stretch...
took a couple hours off work today to go to the beach.for all it's size,it actually works pretty good in the loose stuff.still gets surprised looks when used off-road,though.

now that's a bit of a stretch...
this is required reading when going to north beach-high tide can go past the logs,so you don't want to get stuck in the tidal zone.many trucks have been lost this way.had to go past to high ground, then wait out the high tide for the return trip.

bah u shouldnt have to wait for the tide anymore just jack it up with 44s and go for it hahaha

don't tempt me:D

DO IT!!!!!!!

That would be killer, then the next mod as you stood there scratching your head staring up at the seat, wondering how in the hell you are going to get in, will be a rope ladder.

they do have motorized running boards that come down to you for lifted trucks...

ya,one of my regular customers has those on his dodge-they're pretty cool, come down as soon as you open the door,go back up when you close it.quick too-they're all the way down before the door's half open.:icon_thumby:

as much as i would like to do that(and i did actually measure it up with the ranger's tires a while back)this truck still needs to see regular highway use,and it's expensive enough to run as it is-gas here is 135.9/litre.there is a chance it could have 37s or 38s in it's future but any bigger and it would not be a daily use rig anymore.

time to address a problem that's been bugging me for a long time(been putting this one off for over a year.it's a nasty exhaust leak on the passenger side.

now that's a bit of a stretch...

see where the manifold is?

me neither.thus the delay.i use this pig every day to shuttle kids around,so an all day job is tough to get in.wife and kids are out of town right now,so this is the time.

pulled the inner fender....sounds easy,huh.

every nut and bolt fought me.did a lot of the work with a torch and zipcut.took over an hour just to get the liner out.

now that's a bit of a stretch...

made it a lot easier to get to the manifold, though.
