ok, 4 pages and still not a solution.
lets go back to the basics. are you getting SPARK, and are you getting FUEL?
check for spark coming out of the ignition coil, if you are not getting consistant spark, hook at test light to the GROUND side of the ignition coil and make sure it flashes steady. if you don't know how to properly connect the test light, let me know.
if it DOES flash, check for battery voltage with the key on on the other side of the coil.
if both are ok and still no spark, replace the coil.
SO, if the light does NOT flash, take the distributor cap off and put a volt meter across the 2 wires of the pickup coil and see what it puts out.
it should be at least 500mV
i noticed that the truck RAN before you did work to it, so it should still be able to run.
i know you've said you are SURE the timing is correct, the marks on the crank might line up but it could be 360 degrees from TDC. make sure it is TDC on the compression stroke and the rotor points to #1, then check to see that the firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6 in a CLOCKWISE rotation.
cyl's 1,2,3 are on the passenger side... and cyl's 4,5,6 are on the driver side
