I changed a t-stat once and was still overheating when I realized the new one was still in the box I swore I put the old one in that box someone must have playing tricks on me my evil twin.

I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffin glue.....I still can't believe I did that!!!

If you want to try a tackle the miss to do a cylinder balance test you do the normal KOER test ten seconds after the last code is retrieved keep the engine running and press the pedal to the floor quickly and it will give one digit codes do that three times. The computer turns off the injectors one at a time and checks for rmp drop and a code 9 is a pass. Oh yea did the t-stat work

Yup...the t-stat was the problem. The needle stays right where it should. She purrs like a kitty! Except for the slight miss...

Sure....thats an acceptable analogy!! Haven't tinkered with it much lately, been busy getting ready for 4th O' July trip to the beach. Its still running tho...I start it everyday just to reassure myself.

***UPDATE*** Still running good. Im sooo afraid to mess with it!! Been driving it around town more often, seems to be doing OK.
