the "exit" ramp is covered in dirt and gravel. typically it was used to stop a rig that had its brakes fail on a downgrade, they would steer onto the ramp and sink into the gravel stopping the rig and making it stuck at the same time. someone just made a funny out of it and made a sign. i would rather be stuck in rock then unable to stop on asphalt!

Holy crap, I live like 5 miles from where this pic. was taken! I'ts on the downgrade from bruceton to cheat lake, about 3/4 the way down the mountain. I actually drove my old 95 xj up that very ramp one late night coming back from baltimore when i mistook it for an exit ramp!!! So, what were you doing near morgantown. Also, was this real, cause if so, I think i know who did it.
