Rat Ranger Build

I just remembered......I had long shackles like that on my '69 camaro & had to weld the 2flat-bars together with a short piece of square tubing sandwiched between them.....it kept the tail of the car from wagging when taking off & stopping

isn't the small block chevy considered a "mouse"? and the big block chevy is the "rat"?

i feel like such an idiot, i just saw the mickey thompson valve covers and looked no further, there are several differences in a small block and a big block, (exhaust port spacing etc) since you put an sbc in your truck, and titled it "rat" ranger i stupidly assumed that you were referring to your small block, and even more stupidly didn't even look at the picture

YES, I know it needs a bath, but a lil' at a time..................

Looking good, mate. Now you've just gotta lower the front end for that really aggressive dragster stance, that's gonna look sexy.

i am 22 but aged beyond my years in all things fabrication, and high performance due to being raised with it :icon_welder: which is a bit different from the average xbox360 and world of warcraft playing, iPOD owning, pants-sagging kids of my generation . it wasn't a senior moment, i just was being oblivious and jumped to a conclusion without opening my eyes :buttkick:

Once that rat's in there, the front stance will be nice and low. At least until you mash the loud pedal. :)

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of how much heavier a big block is. I'm 23 but lets just call it a senior moment anyway :)
