i could definately "feel" a difference in the way it handles on the road...had to leave the garage straight for work, so i haven't had a chance to really go test it out...

but, hopefully i will be able to test it out Sat.

Wow, Rangers with lockers, gears, Dana 35s, 8.8 rears, & 4.0s vs Bronco 2 with stock Dana 28, stock open 7.5, & a Durasparked, carb'd 2.8! The pressures on but don't sweat it, I'll take it easy on ya'll!!!

I got a feeling it's gonna be awful sloppy up there, forget the snow, it's been raining like a mofo all day & it's still raining right now, supposed to rain all night. By the way, as of right now the high Saturday is supposed to be about 46 with a 50% chance of rain.

It's almost that time fellers!!!

Well........... now Ive got an explorer rearend, 31 spline, disk brakes..... maybe an ls (not sure yet)

we opened up the rear diff last night and water and metal poured out, yeehaw!!!

So now the race is on to get my truck roadworthy at all.

Rick and John are working tirelessly on my rig while I'm at work..... I don't have the money to pay for the parts if I can't work!!!! lol

well, we picked up a Expo axle with the disk brakes...but is an open diff ( we tried for a LS )

lookin for perches, may have to cut off the old ones and reuse them....

Rick is headin' your way.... i have to go to work myself soon...

2 More Days!!!!!!

I'm gonna take a trip in my mini van....to the trail head tomorrow to make sure it is still open!! If not, someone will need to bring a torch to cut the bar off!!!!!! ?

I have no reason whatsoever to believe it will be closed as it is public land so I'm not too worried, just want to make sure before everyone makes the trip!

I'm so ready to go I can't stand myself.....of course that's nothing new!

OK, give me updates....I know Railman & SVT will be here, I know ya'll are frantically trying to get Franks rig goin', will he be able to make it?

Mr Jim, I am under the assumption you won't be able to make it? How about granting my Christmas wish & telling me you will be there!!

update.....while ferrying Franks new Expo axle to Franks place....Rick's carrier bearing went, causing his input yoke on the rear diff to break...also fubaring the rear shaft in the process....

so while Rick is working on Franks axle and new gears, i went to pick up a one piece shaft for Rick's truck, and am in the process of changing out the u-joint drive flange on the new shaft.....

been a hectic last couple of days....but, as long as Frank's gears are done, he will be there

Wow, I almost feel like I need to go do something to my truck...but I can't think of anything (that I can afford) because it's all ready to go! Seriously though, I hate ya'll are havin' so much problems, good luck!! Hope ya get 'em all together!!

Jim, I really hate to hear that brother, I know the feeling though. I've had to miss out on a bunch of rides due to funds. I really wish you could make it, it would be nice to meet ya & have another B2 in the mix! I'm still holdin' out hope regardless!!

I posted my planned recon mission at noon today, so tomorrow (Friday) is when I am actually going to check it out!

I figure if ya'll are coming down together, we could meet off of exit 89 on 24 on the east side of Murfreesboro & ya'll could follow me in, that way we could have a little convoy over to exit 111 or 117, I haven't decided which way I'm going in yet. Probably exit 117, if we meet up at exit 89, it would be roughly 1.5 hours..give or take a few...to the trail head, with app. 25 to 30 miles on the interstate. I will find out exactly tomorrow & be pretty accurate. I want to try to figure the best way to go!

I will have it all worked out by tomorrow afternoon!!

We're going wheeling hell or highwater........
if the trip to alabama is not on I'm going to LBL....

The front end is all together, the rear is going in, I snuck off to eat a bite, drink a beer and hit the head.
I'm just posting up to say, my boss said I can have off.... and Brandi is def. going as my passenger. and that Rick is a Godsend, and John is freaking awesome.

So very lucky to call you guys friends.

Well, I finished my mission, the trail is open! We will be going to exit 117 on 24, I figure I can meet ya'll at exit 89, from there it's app. 65 miles & roughly 1.25 hours to the trail head.

Bad news is Railman just called & said he has to work tomorrow. He said something about maybe going Sunday depending on what Rick & Frank can do. I can go either day but I hate for Railman to not make it. Ya'll get together somehow & let me know if you come up with a plan.
