nylon clip that goes on end of clucth master cylinder push rod

Where can a person find one of these clips that hold the push rod to the clutch pedal assembly? The dealer wants over $12 for that little item. Has antone ever found it in any autoparts store or in the Dorman help products?

Please send me any info any of you guys have.

I just used a hitch pin clip on mine.

Mines a 94 & not sure but I think the shaft on the pedal assembly doesnt have a hole to use a pin,it has a groove for the 4 nylon fingers to snap into.

I just put the clip in the groove as mine didn't have a hole either and it didn't fall off in the past 2 years.

Advance has them two, they are in the Dorman "help" section. They come in a variety pack. 4-5 bucks sounds about right.


But if the just the little teeth are broken off and the bushing is still intact, the hitch pin clip works out awesome, because you can take it off again in the future if you have to, and it wont break. Thats how I fixed the F-350 when the clip disintegrated. They use the exact same clip as a Ranger so I know the hitch pin clip works out nice.
