My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

Oh yeah scratched paint putting motor in.. :icon_idea: covered it up with Headman Headers sticker..

Stickers give more horse power. That one might good for another 5-7 hp.:icon_rofl:

Shoot if thats true I gotta pair of stickers that should boost it by at least 250 per sticker! :D What about those chrome naked lady mud flaps? any idea on the horse power \ torque ratings on them bad boys? :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

IMO all the wires on the right make it look like crap! there has to be a way to make it cleaner I just can't find it.... I am thinking on making a cold air intake just to free up some space but not sure what to do.. also put vacume on the AC... seems to be holding so that is a plus. Also not too thrilled with the braided hose covers but for now it stays...

Thanks! lol... It's funny everyone loves the intake. The day I started on it friends stopped by and though I was crazy for sanding on it for 9 hours.. then they saw it polished and think it's the coolest thing ever... I went back and hand polished it just to see how much work it is to clean on the truck... It isn't too bad to polish on.

i'm lovin this truck cant wait to see it finished, your intake makes me wnat to do the same this with my 3.0

Thanks MC! Go for it... I would try to get an extra one from the JY... Test a spot on it to make sure it is aluminum. then sand like you have never sanded before. Post some pics when you are done! :icon_cheers:

hand sand or use a die grinder to knock the main stuff down?

Start with a dual action sander and some 80 grit sand paper to knock as much
as you can down. Then switch to 180, then 320.. After geting all the places you can get with the DA Wet sand by hand the tight spots with 180, then 320... use this http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=96826 on a die grinder to get in the really tight spots... finish it off with hand sanding wet 600, 800, then 1500 or 2000.. use Mothers and this but throw away the bars...

Anyone needs more info let me know... Be glad to help out!
