Helping friend with his b2 engine swap. I’m getting crank but no start. After a little figuring out, the fuel pump was bad so I just replaced the fuel pump. We are now having gas to the engine for sure but it’s still only cranking and not starting. When spraying starting fluid in it turns over but doesn’t stay started. Do I need to check the injectors?See if they’re getting fuel. And then trace it to a wiring problem possibly I don’t know I’m stuck. it’s a 92 4.0 I think maybe late 91. Into an 89 bronco and he said it had fuel injection. But if the computer is getting power that controls the injectors doesn’t it and that’s all 4.0 wiring stuff nothing that I would need to splice. Maybe camshaft position sensor or another sensor. I’m not sure. Can somebody please help.
