motor is not bolted in yet. its just laying on the oil pan. s10 swap headers are a good choice. they wrap the tubes around the steering shaft. yeah its a little tight, but its not tighter than a 302. and if worst case scenario, the old style ram horn mannis fit like a glove. so those are my backup

Me myself is gonna put a few miles on the 2.9L in the '36 Ranger before I do a sbc transplant.....meanwhile I crank up the 350 every few days to shake the rafters.....:icon_rofl:

yeah i cant wait till i get a new job in 3 weeks so i can have the money to finish my projects.

on the other hand i WILL be driving my 62 impala this week. going to pick up the drive shaft today. yee haaww. but for doorgunner

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (cough wheeze, blood,)
(1 ranger 2 ranger 3 ranger floor)

I guess we both need to take a couple chill pills & let things work out !

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaa......but seriously!!!!

EDIT: that Impala oughta keep you chillin for a while....WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

still nothing done. i was given a new high flow chrome fuel pump for free. yeah. so just waiting to finish exhaust on the imp. will be driving this wkend.

Me neither on the sbc swap.....I'm still tryin to finish the '36 Ranger & get the yearly State Inspection done on it before I do any engine swap......

I do, however, crank up the 350 every couple days & rattle a few dozen windows......Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: I already bought the motor mounts, & fuel pressure regulator.

I do need to make a trip to the boneyard for the front driveshaft to modify....since I have a 2-piece OEM shaft on the Ranger, I'll just modify a front piece to fit the 700 series a/t..........

RE-EDIT: I just remembered...I has a chevy driveshaft in the shed.......I'll leave the chevy yoke on the front & put a Ford u-joint set-up on the tail end of it & have myself a 1-piece driveshaft.....
