1000 cause when I first saw the aluminum
drive shaft I knew I couldn't abuse it too much so tried to be easy on it I abused it sometimes but not too often

thats a thin ass driveshaft, mines 30mm solid core on my 93 where the swing bearing is, a friend of mine had one like mine sawed in half so he could build a bumper for his 4wheeler, it was 3/8 thick wall. that to me from that picture looks like 1/4 inch or less, thats not right.

Drive shaft tubing isn't that thick, streel drive shaft tubing isn't even 1/4". If they made it that tick it wouldn't be balanceable.

welp here is the story, i got my truck back today brand new shaft on it, the problem was from the "aftermarket dual exhaust". apparently there was a clamp that was scraping the shaft when i had a load, as well as after the incident with the pipe that fell off and ground a good chunk off a while back, but anyway the guy said he'll replace it under warranty and if the "aftermarket dual exhaust" scraps it down again he wont replace it, so the stock exhaust is now re-installed after i brought it home.
So i am happy that even tho an aftermarket part caused the problem they still covered it under warranty

yes, i did haha, words can not express the amount of happiness i felt when i heard this,
the dealership where i go is amazing, they have never cheated us out of anything, they are about the only dealership i have been to thats not a stealership.
the service reps there all come out and explain to you several options for your repairs if and when you need them, and they have free transportation to and from your house to pick up or just go home if your car is being repaired, plus if its a long repair they give you a free rental.
