Hows blairsville? i was hearing mixed things.
we had people from PN, the Carolinas, Florida, NY, Maine..
shit, i went from Central Texas to one of the windiest places i've ever been!
Yea, they were pretty strict about drinking and working in the parking lots when i was there.. that's why i only lived in Tech housing for the first 3 months..
Back on topic!
I'm gonna have someone machine some radius arms for me and extend them, then get a 77HP axle and throw it in and run coils.. i'm already sick of leaves.
well, how much would want to sell your springs, shackles, and hangers for when you switch em out?![]()
you should consider putting an engine crossmember in. i would be worried that there is not enough support for the motor mounts. i was looking at my 98 and i think i am just going to make something that bolts or weld it to where the diff was bolted up directly under the motor mounts.
we can discuss that when the time comes
that diff and the original engine crossmember where the rac and pinion steering junk was bolted added much more support than you would believe. im not an engineer either i just know that a crossmember there is very important to control the torque of the motor. some square stock of a good thickness 3/16" or so would be fine i would like to think. you could tuck it close enough to the oil pan to where it does not limit up travel for when you go to coils. plus it helps protect the oil pan from rocks or whatever.
