I might be in the wrong section here, but I'm looking for help finding a bad fusible link that might be the reason all my markers are out.

I initially suspected the headlight switch but I found another thread (for an 87 F150 XLT) on Ford Truck Enthusiasts that gave the pinout for the switch, which looks the same as mine and the switch seems to be ok. But according to that thread there are supposed to be two hot wires going into the switch connector (B1 and B2), and I only have voltage at B1. The one I don't have voltage on is supposed to be the one that supplies the markers and get its current through a 16ga fusible link.

I found two 16ga fusible links in the wiring bundle on the driver's side fender well, near the wiper/washer unit, but both check out ok, using pins and a DVM. There's another one (20ga) in the bundle that comes across the top of the engine but the wire it feeds doesn't seem to be connected to the headlight switch plug. The three fusible links coming off the starter relay all seem to be ok. This truck has the 9 pin switch and connector for the lights.

Is there another fuse link hiding somewhere that I'm missing?

Just reread the thread at Ford-trucks.com and the hot wire going to B2 is coming from the fuse box not from a fusible link. Pretty sure I replaced that fuse, which had burned out, with a good one but I'm going to recheck it in the morning;

two fuses and one link.

they get corroded and resistive... the connections at the switch and the fuses

Thanks, the fuse was blowing as soon as the lights were turned on, frayed wires in a taillight socket.

that will really add fun to the party. at least ya found the issue
