Wheel bearings, wheel bearings, oh wheel bearings.

Thank you for the correction, don't usually have to deal with it enough to remember which is which.

Assuming I can get the other side done and everything bled tomorrow, and the thing starts, I'll do it.

I seem to remember someone telling me once that the TTB setup can be quirky.

you unloaded it. if you greased the tires it would settle.

once you move it it will settle.

when you unload it you shorten the distace between the tires as the beam moves down. friction is holding it in a loaded state.

ttb...its a thing that does stuff...

Well I managed to get the driver side done today, was quite an interesting day, not too bad of a job- just messy. But I may have another issue, and I have my suspicious by I could use some input.

When I lowered the truck for the evening, the passenger side wheel is crooked, like it's suddenly got a negative camber (I may have the wrong term). I know it's not so apparent in the photo, but it really is irl.
That's because hen you let it down it put pressure on the front suspension. As soon as you roll it back and forth it will come back to normal. It's an idiosyncrasy of the ttb and tib suspensions.
Slow writing....

I did the other side today, and my gosh this is easy. I did everything on the passenger side in an hour tops, everything cooperated for once. I did manage to roll it around a bit today and yes the camber did self-correct, except I basically went from have 5% brakes to 15% and I've done everything but mess with the booster, master cylinder, and hoses. I spent hours bleeding air out of them too today.

No worries, that's what the manuals are for. I've done both jobs before on a previous truck, shouldn't be too bad.

Bacon grease tastes better
I actually just cooked up 4.47# of bacon tonight and saved the grease. Gonna throw the cooked bacon in the freezer for when I need it and the grease is being saved for more grilling. Used some bacon and grease to make a breakfast scramble for supper already, lol.

Bacon grease is lard. I save it too. I use it for making pastry and deep frying.
