2003 Fx4 Level II twin stick restoration

"So for 2003 there were 324 FX4 Leve II with the twin sticks made. If that same amount was equal for all colors, then ford only made about 1600 two stick that year."

I don't quite understand that math. I am guessing you stated there where 324 FX4 Level IIs made because there where 324 with the ebony/red seats. Those seats also came with the L IIs with automatic transmissions with the electronic shift transfer case. So, maybe the 324 were just the bright red 2003 L IIs with ebony/red seats. That is some very fuzzy math to assume the same number of 2003 L II Rangers were sold in each color and each color had the same number of manual transmissions/transfer cases.

Apparently, you were trying to come up with a way to get an estimate of the number of manual transfer cases made in 2003. Not a bad idea, but I would be very surprised if it was anywhere near close. Just too many variables. It still shows they are pretty uncommon which is a bad thing for us if we need parts associated with specifically for the manual transfer case.

Aside from the shifter is the t-case much different than earlier 1354's?

@gw33gp

Here is the elite report I received.

I bought this report expecting the results to tell me how many Bright Red 2003 Ford RangerFx4 Level II's with a manual transmission and transfercase.

And in a way this does it first says that there were 8,755 4.0 V6 4x4 Supercab With a manual transmission made in 2003. of those 1,341 were in bright red.

Where the deciphering comes in is with the seating. The Ebony/red sport seats were only available with the FX4 Level II package. And that is my point the breakdown doesn't say Fx4 Level II package, it just list the interior color and seat style.

So "where do I get 1600two stick fx4 from?"

There were only 324 Bright Red 2003 Ranger Fx4 Level II's with a manual transmission which only came with a manual transfercase. BUT the Level II was available in 5 colors so if Ford put the same production into all 5 colors then they probablymade about 1600.
