What did YOU do today?

Picked up a new swinging drawbar kit for the tractor, got home before the freezing rain hit.

Personally.. I woulda put the camera on a tripod on the front lawn and remote triggered it as soon as I had my bare behind pressed up on the window from the inside lol.

Thank you for that visual. I’m trying to lose weight and now I’m going to pass on dinner.

However, it highlights the difference between country folks and city folks. You’d set up a camera and take a picture of your butt against the window. We sophisticated people in the city, we sit on the copy machine and hit start.

Always wipe the glass with clorox wipes before doing anything else.

Spent some time digging up documents for a tax audit. South Carolina wants proof that I really installed a solar electric system on my house 4 years ago. I hope I uploaded enough crap to be convincing. I even made up a pdf document with photos showing the stuff.
tried satellite image searches? Google street view?
some local auditor offices contract with drones to look for code violations. beat 'em at their own game.

Don’t jump too quickly, I haven’t done it in years. But now I understand why there were some baby wipes next to the copier…

I learned how to use Gaia GPS a little bit more, did some research on concealed carry reciprocity, and ordered some stuff for TRS events this summer and fall.

Just what kind of events are you planning with guns and no cell tracking?

I always carry, where legally allowed. I just usually carry in such a way that no one knows that I'm in fact carrying.

Every state's laws on the subject are different and have their quirks and limitations. With states like Illinois, the only way to legally transport a weapon is via federal transportation regulations (in a locked case with ammunition in a separate locked case, not immediately accessible to the vehicle occupants). So, it is very important to know, or have the information on hand, for what each state has to say on the subject.

Some states have magazine capacity limitations. Anything more than that arbitrary number can cause legal issues.

Also, because of those quirks and limitations, I have three (3) concealed carry licenses so I can carry in 36 states (5 more than what my home state LTCF receives reciprocity).

As far as the Gaia GPS, some of the locations we are going, there will be no cell phone coverage, and a regular GPS will not cover the trails adequately. It has nothing to with cell phone tracking but the lack of ability to even use the system. Cass, WV for instance, there is a cell phone exclusion zone because of the radio telescopes or some similar system in the area. Meaning, the phones won't have service of any kind.

When are you going to learn to not take me seriously…

But it is good information

Well, you being from New Jersey, sometimes it's hard to tell but I did have a suspicion you weren't being serious.

When you’re from NJ, nothing is serious… until it’s serious.
