Seriously??

Got some tractor parts on order, going to drop the blade off at its off-season storage spot (should be done with any more serious snow by now) & start taking apart the tractor. Appears to be a 52, motor is a 51 so either a end of a run engine for 51 into a early 52 tractor or a older engine got put in somewhere in its life, either is possible. Saw yesterday the radiator had a serious repair & is about a good 5 or so tubes soldered off, to really clean out the hydraulic system I need to drop the pump, might as well put a new releif valve in, going to need gaskets & theres a whole laundry list of little things- that add up to big money. But not as big as a new tractor or even getting the ‘63 back going again. The worst will be the back tires, its got 2 different sizes on the back & the smaller (correct size) tire is the worst one. But all in all if Id wanted a tractor that needed nothing at all done, Id of spent more for one that had less issues. For $600 though Ive got something that does work but needs a lot of things here & there.

Ala who?

Oh. The band, Alabama? Yeah. They were pretty good.

Tomorrow morning is trash day so I gathered up all the garbage and got it out on the porch then shoveled to the trash bins. By this time it was time to sit. Then cut up the ham for dinner and then I went back out and finished cleaning the snow off the trucks that the GF didn't get to because she had to take a break. Then because of my four footed pal, Major, leaving fur everywhere I vacuumed the house....

Boy, I like my place for that, it's so much smaller and easier to take care of. This place is on the larger side. 3 bedroom, 2 baths, 2 living rooms, dining room, laundry room and kitchen upstairs then a bedroom, living room and a bath down stairs.

I plowed 10" of snow with my tractor yesterday, then scooped up the bulk of what was piled in front of the house and moved it behind the garage. I've plowed 5 times in the last 10 days. They're predicting more for Thursday and again next Sunday. Yippee.

Ugh. It's supposed to get back down into the 30s tonight, and only a high of 53 today.

I picked up another set of loading ramps ($40), faded paint, no rust and otherwise excellent condition, and they match the original ones, so now I have four the same.

I also picked up three deck chairs for sweet pea. $100.

Since it’s 70 and sunny (sorry, eskimos), I’m going to break out the rustoleum and give them all a touch up. Should be dry by six or seven.

I love the fact that you spent over twice as much for Sweat Pea's stuff than your stuff. that should keep her mind off of what the spending you do. Well played Sir, well played.

I think I said it before, but sweet pea and I are no longer an “item.“ Just a very good friends now, she’ll pay me back for the chairs. $100 and a can of Costco Virginia peanuts

Yes, I work for peanuts
