Picked up my sister and her family in san antonio at 1030pm. Their flight was supposed to leave at 0330 to come to texas but the pilot called in drunk and then the replacement guy got left in atlanta so their flight was delayed 12 hours. The airline gave then 50% of the ticket costs back but it made the whole day long for everyone.
The new ranger did its first 400 mile trip though. Man, that truck is so quiet and smooth. Even my brother-in-law coupdnt believe how quiet and smooth it was on the ride back from the airport. He has a 2015 tundra and wants something that gets better mileage so maybe he will get a ranger because he really really was impressed with this one.
Trip from corpus to leakey was 20mpg doing 80mph for 288 miles.
Trip from leakey to airport and back was 170 miles doing 75-80mph iand got 25mpg.
