Todays weather

Been on and off rain all day today. That’s ok, I had plenty to do inside…

So, a couple weeks ago I arranged to take vacation this week - tomorrow thru to Monday. Thought I could use the time to get some work done on the Ranger in preparation for our fall gather at LBL and maybe even go camping next weekend. But now I have THIS to look forward to. I live in the upper left part of South Carolina where the rain will be parked all week.

We got golf ball size hail tonight.
F-150 has some chips in the paint on the hood (we put blankets on the cab, the wife and daughter's Explorers, the son's Ranger is having to tough it out)
Update: Son's Ranger took hits to both external mirrors. Luckily, the spares box has 2 drivers and a passengers.

Yes, a former customer sent me pics of his place in Sunridge (Calgary, Alberta subdivision). Looks like I will be doing siding repair to the same houses I did last big hail storm... It doesn't look like the same amount of damage this time, so no whole house replacement.
All I got in Airdrie was heavy rain.

Well, the hurricane (the center, anyway) has been hanging a little farther off the coast than originally forecast. All I've gotten so far is a cloudy day yesterday and a beautiful breezy sunny day today. Well, it was blazing hot, too. Tomorrow I get a 60% chance of rain. Not too bad. Apparently I loive just far enough inland to miss the worst stuff.

75 and low humidity here in Anderson IN. I'll take it.

Since the rain started while we were in Carlisle, the temperatures have eased off a bit. Instead of being in the 90's, it's been floating around in the 80's range.

Of course, that also means that the grass has started growing rapidly again.

It's hot.

Tomorrow's going to be hotter!

Not today, but over the next few days, looks like @Rick W , @Robertmangrum.rm , @Mattman347 are about to get a bit of rain and wind.

ever since the city got wiped out in a snowstorm in the 1980s, a once every 15 year fluke, they always say the sky is falling. Rarely do we have any serious wind or rain by the time the storm makes it this far in. But it did start raining today.

Yeah it's started on and off today. Bad part is me and Zane leave out tomorrow for a music festival in Louisville for the next 4 days. We are camping hahaha. But that's what makes memories. Well at least that's what I hope for.

It's sinister plot by Big Milk and Big Bread.

I've never understood the panic buying of milk and bread. If power is going to be out for several days, you're much better off with vienna sausages, crackers and beer.
