edit, forgot to add, i believe i am what's called a shade tree mechanic, what ive done so far has just been done by me in my yard

A lot lol, needs a new motor, new header panel, new fender and bumper, new tires, and new suspension components would probably also be a good idea while I'm at it. She sat and got reclaimed by the blackberry bushes for about 5 years after the engine seized. Almost no rust though, which is nice!
also I'm realizing i don't take very many pictures of it lol

pretty sure, the shop we took it to in 2018 said it was, and when i went under there more recently with a wrench, it didnt budge even with me using my (200lbs) bodyweight as leverage

Ok. Its more then likely locked then.

Just seen people think one was locked at it just be a starter issue or something

Pentode, those photos were taken right after I gave it a bath. a rag, a hose, and a bottle of simple green will do amazing things

MaicoDoug, yes! its a four door, I didn't know the rangers ever came in non- four door extended cabs until recently, is one more rare then the other?

As far as I can tell I think they usually had four doors, mines a two door, but I might just be spouting off nonsense.

Daniel, hope you get her going soon. Great look as they all are.

The 4 door was an option $$, upgrade if you will. These days, I have to use rubber bumpers attached to the lower door frame to help keep some pressure on the door and stop it from rattling so much. It's nice to open all 4 doors for access. I believe the 4 door option was not all that common. There is a body seal in place where it looks like it might open, but it doesn't. When the 4 door option came out it was a hot upgrade. Put the Ranger up front, I think I still get looks when I open her up at the grocery store.
