So I recently picked up a 98 XLT 4D 2wd with the 3.0L. It looks like the owner lifted the truck, but Id like to reset it back to stock ride height. In the rear, I can see where they stuck the 4WD blocks on the axle, but Im a little unsure of how they lifted the front end. Any ideas what is necessary to reset the front end? I figure it will need an alignment as well after anything is done.

welcome!

it would probably be best if you took a picture of hte front end suspension so people on here can look and tell you what changes were made.

it might be lift springs with different control arms, but who knows without pics

Front suspension. Also included a rear pic to show the 4x4 block.

That is stock… it’s for the bump stop on the frame to contact.

i knew something hit it to keep the springs from inverting or whacking into the frame. it just looks funny sticking out sideways
