What did YOU do today?

Hmm, she was at the helm when it got out...:unsure:q

If you think you’re in deep snow with all your vehicle troubles, go ahead and start complaining about mama and see how the situation improves

No, this whole adventure was pretty much the stupidist thing she heard of and she played no part in it until I dragged it out with her help.

hell Bobby, in the worst of it last night we drove up to Dundee for supper.
23 was kind of crappy, the Blizzaks on the AWD Edge were begging for more.
Coincidence I am sure.

No driving skills? They went to Bronco School!
In Texas, there's probably only a handful of people in Texas that know how to drive in the snow...

In some snow it's super easy to ice up the snow under the tires and leave you nice little round holes to sit in with like -4 traction units which is where aired down tires and low range help out to make it harder to spin the tires fast enough to ice up and give you a bigger contact patch...

I am shocked... honestly.

I can not believe he didn't use rope/rag methods. Zip lockers....is a more recent term....because it's so cheap and easy to keep long ass fat bastard zip ties around.

I run military oz mudds for the most part and always keep sections of chain for those -4 traction situations because those military muds suck as bad as Amanda's tires in the snow.

Interesting 🤔.....

But....to be fair I don't give a fawk about the chains chewing up my 16.5 in hd wheels.....and in my shop truck the newer giant calipers are not zip friendly either. But rope is better then nothing.

You talking threading rope/zip ties/chain through the wheel and around the tire? That's so simple it should work and not sure why I hadn't thought about it... I should throw some of my junk rope in the Ranger toolbox... maybe first check if the Explorer calipers will allow that... I doubt they will being 15" wheels dangit... there's a plus for rear drums...

Ok, going to be a pic dump kinda post since I haven't hooked the phone to the computer in a while...

First is me trying out the Snapper mower I got running just before Christmas, still need to rebuild the carb since the float needle doesn't seal all that great apparently...

Then there's the camper in the shop fiasco, it's way worse than I expected, conveniently there's an aluminum sub structure but there's some broken welds so I'll fix that, I have most of the plywood stripped from the foam board now but need to see what kinda wood I have on hand to replace all of the rot.

Then there's the current weather, that's the same area from above where I was mowing with the Snapper...

Then there's the two (so far completed, still have another to do) imitation Lego kits I got for Christmas, the tractor has steering, an engine and a transmission, the Winnebago has a toilet but no basement for Barf to rock out in...

I see you are experiencing the heartache and frustration @85_Ranger4x4 experienced with his slide in. God Speed!

Similar, maybe 2" of frozen stuff, roads aren't too bad, ventured into town with the '90 a few minutes ago, didn't get over 50 since there's no shoulders around here and I don't want to play in a ditch... plus the spindle bearing or whatever in the front starts vibrating around 45...

I hate that I have to ask, but did the Eagle 5 have a basement? Been too long since I watched the movie, but I'm not remembering a basement.

I remember Barf being down a ladder rocking out to headphones when the princess went down the ladder to ask him to do something, it's been a few years myself...
