No wonder...

I see no M/T's... no third pedal... no driving skills.

Firestone Field and Roads laugh it MT's for being weak and got it out once. However the locker... made absolutely no difference. A third pedal and skill got it out the second time... :dntknw:

Yeah.....I would never thought of you being so ill prepared..... Me otoh

The plan was to fill my gas can friday but then the storm hit with both barrels Friday so I didn't go to town. After the hard start I never shut it off either...

It wasn't stuck. They don't do snow in bronco driving college.

Or he would have ziplocked it

C'mon bobby...

He at least needs a lok-rite... manual t case and some driving skill

Could have been out with this herd of idiots....

painted two bathroom vanity cabinets white. they were golden oak that has seen 20+ years of abuse and crap.... we replaced the vanity top in the master bath a few years ago due to the porcelain enamel iron sink rusting out... doing the other full bath vanity top maybe tomorrow. both go well with the new white paint.

anything to make the house sell quicker and get more money for doing it :)

That sounds both good and bad at the same time. No blood clots is a good things, bad thing is they didn't find the problem. Saw you mention the prostate exam in another post. I'm not there yet, but dad's about to finish up chemo for Prostate cancer in the next week or two, so it won't be long before they start.

To hell with dignity, it isn't worth not getting better. Being in her line of work, even if she hasn't seen a beached whale with bird legs, I'm sure she's seen worse. Probably often.

Hopefully they'll find the problem soon and get it taken care of.

Awesome! I need to find make the time to do more of that again. My family used to love canoeing and kayaking when I was younger. Got a kayak in storage at my parent's house, but it probably hasn't touched water in almost 20 years. Unfortunately not any good water bodies around here to go solo. Most of the lakes are crowded by people ripping in power boats. Rivers are difficult to arrange by yourself, largely due to leaving vehicle unattended. I did find out about a river kayaking group in my area, but seems like boating is secondary to partying and drinking for them. I'm not into either.

Also love the truck and topper with the canoe strapped on top. That's about the one reason I'm still considering buying a topper for my '99. I've had a high rise topper for it, but didn't like it. Normal usage I want a tonneau. For camping I'd kind of like to have one of the streamline ARE toppers for these trucks with an Explorer roof rack on it. Load the back for camping, strap the kayak on top and hit the road. Drive up to the mountains for a long weekend and enjoy some of those lakes and streams. Of course I'd hate the work of unloading and removing the topper when I got home. Hence why I'll probably end up with a small camper instead.

get the PSA blood test for prostate.
tell your dad there is life after prostate problems, but it is a bit different.

I ran out of stuff to repair one of the New cabinets Kim destroyed.....going to put drawers in this time so it's even harder and more expensive to fix after the next visit from the fawk up fairy

A little customization on the F-150...

Our lil boat anchor doing a post turtle impression...

The view ahead and the now refilled drift I got stuck in the first time.

She comes out to do chores and I knew another person in the Bronco to help rather than doing a dead neutral pull would make a huge difference.

So I waltz the '150 out there, it almost gets hung up a couple times and is half stuck just sitting there. I was not very confident in it. Couldn't see well behind it to do a backwards pull and it was wallering around enough to it was hard to know what it was going to do so I back it back out and...

Ranger pawed around a bit but we got that horse broke to lead.

The ol' girl did very well, got around way better than either of the two newer ones lol. Even with the smallest tires it has a huge ground clearance advantage. It was also awesome we both have GMRS radios so we could kind of coordinate our efforts. As I sit here right now it is -12 with a feel like of -38*

I’m sitting here in Atlanta, and I didn’t want to work outside because it was only going to be 40° today. The sun was out, so I roughed it.

I went to school in the Buffalo snow belt, nothing like what you’re talking about. I want you to know that there was a part of me that misses it, but not much, too hard for working for a living, living life.

But I hear your story, and I see your pictures, and I am absolutely heart warmed and smitten. How glorious, how beautiful all that nature, all that snow. And that’s balanced against people who work hard, good people who know what right and wrong is, who help each other, not exactly what we experience here in Atlanta.

Thank you for sharing all this, it’s absolutely fantastic, it’s absolutely heartwarming.

And I wish you the best of luck if you’re crazy enough to continue living up there….

That they didn't.

And it doesn't do snow like a Ranger...

Rear locker was of no help.

I need more ground clearance but I can't get clearance to get more clearance. :stop:

Yep, I've told my doctor about it. I'll sure they'll schedule me for the PSA sooner than later. Unfortunately if it does me like it did him, that might not do much good. Going off memory of what was relayed to me. His was well established before it ever showed up on a PSA. I can't explain what I was told about the reason, but it had something to do with the way it grew.

He's handling it pretty well and looking forward to the treatments being over. Right now I think the biggest thing he's looking forward to is being able to taste food. Says everything has pretty much tasted like cardboard since treatment started, but there was a period where thy had to postpone treatment for a couple weeks and it started to come back. Said that during that respite he felt better than he had in a while, so he's looking forward to whats to come.

They discussed all the post treatment stuff with the doctor. The way dad reacted was that he's about to turn 70, so most of it didn't worry him too much. He'll be happy if he's rid of the pain and back able to really do the things he enjoys.

Is that Bronco a 2wd? How can it get stuck on flat ground with what looks like less than a foot of snow?

Slid sideways downhill into a drift and high centered. The snow is a lot deeper on the downhill side. And it is mud under the snow somehow.
