NOTICE 2024 calendar vote

Ok. I'm putting this in it's own thread so it doesn't dirty up the regular calendar thread. So, We had fairly good participation and there are more entries than there are months for next year. Two spots are taken. One, will be TRS-3. I omitted Jim's trucks one year and was gently chastised. Hey. He IS the one who started this whole Ranger Station thing in the first place. So, he gets a place. Second, I screwed up last year and didn't have time for voting. I added a 13th month to the 2023 calendar. But nobody will look at that once they get this one. Racsan was gracious enough to let me put his truck in the extra month along with the promise that he would get January in this one. You can check last year's calendar thread and see where that is documented. Here is a quote of that post.

As I was editing the final details, I discovered an entry that I had overlooked. Oops. That means I had 13 entries that were submitted by the original deadline (and 1 that came in afterward). This late in the game, I couldn't do the voting contest. So, in order to include everyone, I made it a 13 month calendar. @racsan was gracious enough to allow me to move his photo to January of 2024 and I promised to make his the January photo in the 2024 calendar also. That way, even if you quit using this one on Dec 31 next year, you will still see his truck in the new calendar in 2024. That was the best Idea I could come up with. Hey. I'm human. I goof.

So that leaves us with 10 months to fill for 2024. Below, are 12 images to choose from. I think the extras will go in the bucket for next year. They're all good trucks. Each photo has a number in the upper left or right corner. Just vote for your favorite 10 photos. The numbers will NOT appear in the calendar. They are for voting purposes only. I'll give you 12 days since I have already done most of the editing and prep work for creating the calendar. Voting will close November 5.

wow, that’s a tough choice to only pick ten! Not only are they great trucks and great pictures, it’s an incredibly good cross-section of everything that is “Ranger.”

And, @ericbphoto , you’re the man! What’s that old saying? Behind every organization, there is a great hard-working SOB. I might not have that exactly right

Pretty sure I've been called an SOB a few times. Let's put a hold on that "hard-working" part. I've slowed down a bit in recent years.

Two thoughts:

It may not be practical, and it may be a lot of work, but….

about putting the three in a 24 or 48 hour vote off (not that the purpose would be to vote anyone off)

Or, how about putting all three pictures on one page overlapping a little bit like you did on The Road Ranger…
