What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Okay thanks. I'm not a fan of spacers but they're not legal in my state anyway.

Well, now that you have some numbers to work with, maybe you can find some rims with the back space reduced by 1.5” that will work and meet PA code. The question is, how much do you want those bigger tires?

Not that much. :D
If I can fit them with the stock wheels or maybe with the Ready Lift crash bars, fine, but new wheels aren't in the budget.

You should be fine with 285s with the big tire crash bars or a angle grinder 😅 but I do have a 2.5 inch level

Got the other McGard lug nuts today. Broke two of the chrome-capped OE units taking them off.

Swept all all the dirt, rocks, and bits of wrapper out of the truck. It still amazes me how much crap a woman will just leave go in a vehicle but if the same thing were to be done in a house, they would flip their lid.

I also cleaned the interior side of the windows.

I fixed the wire connector corrosion issue going to the bed cap by replacing the entire connector.

Lifted the bed cap to look at the condition of the seal with my engine puller. The seal looks to be in good condition. So it must not be thick enough. I'll have to see if the place in Bridgewater has a thicker seal. If not, I'll have to go shopping on amazon.

I also pulled the taillights to inspect the condition of the connectors. They looked clean but in typical Ford fashion, the back of the connectors are not sealed from the elements. So, I packed the back of the connector and the wire bundle going into the connector with dielectric grease. As expensive as those LED lights are with the copilot 360 system, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure they never need replaced. Too bad no one makes a protective light cage for them or I would install those too.

Mounted the bomb tail fuse:

Oh yes. Free to spin. 'Course I cannot see back there to know while driving.

On my old Sport Trac I simply used two layers of cap seal tape. The problem was the cap rubbing on the exterior bed hooks and I was afraid it would get cracks.

I’ve done that before. They used the better seal that is more like a door seal material with three tubes running down the sides and the middle. I’ll have to replace it anyway to increase the thickness.

Well this afternoon I got out and preasure washed the mud off my truck from LBL. As I was finishing the wife came out. I told her that I thought we should get some gravel for our driveway. She paused and looked around and said " I don't think we are losing any gravel. I think you are just flooding it with mud after every trip." I chuckled but then it struck me she may be right haha. Either way I'm gonna get some more gravel.

My driveway is so old and soil filled, it needs to be dug out and redone. It’s been regraveled at least twice that I remember and is significantly higher than the ground around it as a result. So, just dumping more gravel on top isn’t an option.

I ended up getting a new garage floor and driveway poured about ten years ago. In real cold weather I'd get a frost heave high enough to trip the garage door opener and I'd come home from work and the garage door would be up.

My garage floor is all cracked and broken. The WWII era vet who owned the house before my parents did the usual “southern engineering” that, that generation did around the house. Including laying a foundation of loose cinder block and probably just pouring the cement on bare dirt. To fix it correctly, the whole garage would probably have to be demolished and started from scratch.
