What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

@JohnnyO

What is the chain for?

Hope that fixes the problem. Blmkn had an vibration issue and it turned out to be the support bearing for the driveshaft. Outside of buying a single piece shaft as a replacement, there wasn't a remedy. The dealers can't get a replacement for the OEM and I think there was a supply issue with the single piece.
I actually had no vibrations... it was just a constant grinding very much like bad rear brakes.

Which is wierd.. usually a bad center bearing will cause vibrations.. but they usually also squeal like a stuck pig instead of grind too so idk 🤔

But yeah.. factory ford shafts are backordered indefinitely. Not sure what the hold up is.. but it may also affect the aftermarket single piece options. The availability of the single piece shafts has been hit or miss over the past couple years.. I *think* due to the ujoints being brand new.. and their manufacturer not being able to keep up.. something along those lines anyways.
I've tried to wiggle it before but it doesn't seem to move. Will check again next time I change the oil. I'm prepared to start saving up for a Tom Woods driveshaft. Went across town to the grocery store and looped around the bridge next to town and briefly got it up to 70 mph. Didn't seem as bad as before but at this point if it was the shocks my tires could be fragged.

No on any of my trucks but I have on previous vehicles. Sony 3-way and 4-way speakers made a big difference and didn't break the bank. Much more than changing out the head unit did. Not that there is really a way to do that on these new models.
You can actually replace the head unit. The owner of our company just had the head unit swapped out in his Ford Van which was very similar to the XL 4 inch with a Kenwood at a local audio shop. With some adapter he can work all the AC controls and it even has engine gauges and fuel mileage and all sorts that the 4 inch screen didn't. I was super impressed when he brought it up to have us work on it.

Winch for the spare tire. Easier to reach the upper shock bolts if you remove the spare.
You should try with a 285/75r16 under there. That thing is tight haha

Do you feel a ride difference right away?

CMOS
Rides like a new truck.
Still have some vibration but maybe not quite as bad. Couldn’t really hit the highway to our other facility today due to a truck on fire blocking the ramp so I had to take the slow way.

Lots of truck fires in PA...

Installed a CB and GMRS radio and antennas.

Changed the oil in the engine, front differential, and rear differential. Also installed an ARB differential cover on the rear axle.

Here is some pictures of the cover and the inside of the differential. This and FX4 with the factory electronic locker.

The differential comes with a drain plug and a fill plug on the cover. Nice to actually have a drain from the factory instead of having to pull the cover every time.

ARB Cover. It has a fill plug with a dip stick and a drain plug.

I was hoping to order a Midland MX225 mini before the round up. Was hoping I could fit it behind the flip down panel under the dash and just mount the mic somewhere easily accessible. There might be a small pew pew mounted right there where you mounted yours haha

Man now I've got something new to save for. Do you know if the make one for the front diff too?

The front differential is a clamshell housing. So there is no differential cover to change. The only way you are going to protect it more is a bigger skid plate. It does have a drain and fill plug from the factory.
