has anybody purchased Mazda torsion bars?

reality check

millions of Rangers were sold, but only a handful of owners are willing to spend significant money on them.
the aftermarket is in business to make money, not cater to relative few aficionados.

yep, it's sad.

the bars I saw were manufactured in Canada,

I do agree with you, however I would think more people would need them as these vehicles get older and their suspensions need to be rebuilt.

It's not an add on like tail light guards or something.

With the way that planned obsolescence is built into cars nowadays, its just sad.

The annoying thing is that lots of aftermarket torsion keys, bolts, etc., are available, just not the bars. And I can get aftermarket replacement coils for mine (mine has front coils, not torsion bars). If the aftermarket can handle the keys etc., then it should have a market for the bars, which are not that expensive at under $200 each.
