So, the engine starts easily. Idles nicely. It's when I put it in gear and apply pressure to the go pedal and the motor starts to cough radically! I later sought advice from my MD...He said I should get tested...? For what I thought... I didn't get tested. So, I took a spoonful of cod liver oil and my throat is whistl'in dixie... Oh! sorry side tracked...Life and Engines tend to mesh... Where was I? Oh throttle issue... How many Throttle Positioning Sensors are there on my 1990 2.9L V6...? Obrigado!

On the passenger side corner of the engine bay there are 2 plugs that look like they should be plugged into something, or have a cover on them that says "EEC test".

Id buy a EEC IV tester like this...

Itll come with a book on how to pull codes.

Also, the 2.9 only has 1 tps right on the throttlt body
