I'm trying to remove the fuel sender and am having trouble removing this fuel line and I anticipate that the electrical connection (the white one on the far right) is going to be difficult as well.

I tried using the blue tool and shoving into the connector but it is not budging. Does anyone know how to remove them?

Welcome to TRS :)

Push the hose part towards the gas tank fitting as you push the blue tool in

Try to rotate hose first, back and forth, it may just be stuck to the port's line inside, there is no "key way" alignment, the hose would rotate 360 degree if other end was off

It doesn't hurt to give it a shot of lube either. Get your blow gun out and blow all the dirt off too.

Yeah. All that stuff at once.

blow the crud out.
Spray with WD-40
Push hose and connector towards tank fitting and hold it there while inserting your tool.

some of these things are stubborn

Like they say get them lubed up and clean. I've had various plastic sets over the years be hit and miss, they get chewed up, or flex and push unevenly, and some I've seen were just too thick and sanding the OD down a little helped get them to slip in.

The Lisle 35800 aluminum set fits everything on the Ranger/Explorer fuel and A/C systems perfectly. And unlike the plastic ones these aluminum ones you can clamp/rotate/push/tap on them with pliers to get a little force into it for stuck or rusty connections. (The chrome ends on the engine bay fittings like to get rusty on these trucks)
