90s chevy trucks

Try to look for an early 90s 3500hd. The HD designation meant a LOT more in that era.. my coworker has a '91. It's got a 454 that's been swapped to carb and it boasts a 15k gvwr IIRC. The "identifier" for those HD trucks is they have a filler panel between the grill and front bumper.

Thats kinda the thing even my F250 is massive overkill for anything i do on a regular basis.

My next truck whatever it is will more then likely be a 1/2 ton.

Pffffft. Overkill shmoverkill.

My local junkyard guy has one of those early 3500HD service trucks. I believe they are similar to the F-Super Duty that was around before all of the 3/4 and up trucks carried that name.

I’m not familiar with many cheby trucks. I know the 2000 chebies has a lot of electronic and fuel sender issues.

One of my cousins seems to like hers ok
I had a 54 chev one ton. First year of the one piece windshield and only year for the grill. In the same year they changed the body style, so mine was a first edition. Was also small block swapped with a built 283. It was a rust bucket tho. I used a bungie cord to hold the door shut. And had to be careful to keep my boots over the hole on the left side floor when turning left or I would get soaked from rain water...lol. it was my work truck for several years. Almost a decade actually. I still have the motor.

Eh, just get a Maverick and embrace modern technology.

Heck you might even like it :)
