Here we are. It's almost mid October. It's getting cold. I've been faithful about going to the U pull yards. Every time a new old one arrives, I'm out there the very next day. I had high hopes for a few big parts: a new rear axel with a Torsen Locker, and some leather bucket seats, maybe from a Mustang. I struck out, but along the way, I picked up a lot of smaller items on my shopping list: nerdy little things that finish off my truck and help it to look new again.

A bigger blue oval (from an 150) for my front grill
I pulled a new CLEAN insulating blanket for under the hood.
A tire change kit cover...very hard to find for a regular cab.
A 2003 owner's manual
Fender flares and front mudflaps
An old school 2003 radio complete with disc and cassette players

I helped a friend pull parts too. We got all 4 doors, a bedliner, and a tailgate for his xlt.

How about you? What did you pull this summer?

October is when It's finally cool enough outside for me to get started, lol. Summers are too hot and Hurricane season just finished, so It's time to get to work.

Hope to get a column with the Shifter for my v8 swap. Possibly the whole dash.

what did I pull?

a muscle in my back.

Couple tailgates, hitch, two bumpers, and a bunch of random parts. Still got some things on my list but I don’t really have the time to spare at the moment, winter is coming and certain things involving my trucks need to happen first

All the junkyards around me haven't had any 83-92 Rangers in quite some time, so I don't look too much at Rangers. I haven't even been to pull-a-part in a couple years, but I do need to go and pull a set of seats for a customer project.

My favorite yard went out of business

Seats and a console.
