Dang coyotes getting into everything.

Back to the original post. I would like to say finally. A Chevy gets gets a coyote swap compared to the numerous Ford's that have been 350 or LS swapped. It's about gottam time.

I'm glad we all agree the three speed is a lot less convenient, that's why I chose it. For safety.

Now if you do need more gears for towing, ect, we can implement a two speed rear with a floor leaver.

Try and text while shifting a floor lever and column shifter at the same time.

no one likes the three speed on the floor? like the old mustangs had? i could get on the highway in first gear in my 65 mustang. it was spinning like a turbine engine but it would do it

He is not kidding ...

I don’t see why everyone has issues with Chevy/Coyote, Ford/LS, etc swaps...

-Find a body you like from any manufacturer.
-Find an engine that will do what you want it to do (power, fuel mileage, just look cool, got it for free, etc).
-Install engine.
-Drive car.

It’s not rocket surgery...

No i wouldnt. Cause i would still find enough other reasons to dislike it.

I don't agree. It's got a giant glass roof you would never know is there unless you want to........cooled and heated seats...I have not checked for the power dick washer...but all around...no way your hating this critter. Only complaint is I don't have the fat bastard tow mirrors and camera clarity...because I am in the old guy slot now. Tow mirrors take minutes to swap.

Now.
Understand this.
Your argument is the clear winner.

Because this thing will never be cost effective long term.

People are disappointed with mpg...

Towing....7 to 9 near rating...12-15 lighter stuff.. And it averages 17 winter so far.....19-20 summer.

I am over the moon with that ..but I guess they had 24 for mpg....and it does that.. but you have to try.

The cost for all of that to 200k is unknown.

But if they turn out reliable for 5 years....that is an epic sea change of capacity. This thing runs a 220 volt welder no sweat....or my house or a cabin....

You can get it with a plain Jane work truck...
Our truck ... The sticker....I can't even look at it for more then ten seconds.....to keep from stroking out.

Time will tell.

For now. Rusty you have the win. But I like cooled seats.

Yeah. I have used all the brands in rbv swaps.

I can buy a used 500 dollar generator on craigslist, a couple ratchet straps from harbor freight, strap the bastard down in the bed of rusty and do the same thing. Just sayin.:ROFLMAO:

Just bustin your balls, but really though, i just....dont get the point of all the fancy stuff.

A decent seat, AC and cruise is all ya really need in that department.

But have you ever owned a truck with cooled seats??? It’s ABSOLUTELY not a necessity in any way, shape, or form... but damn they’re nice after a days work.

One other point ...I just pay for that fawking thing .. my wife drives it...it's her daily ... Though I have close to 10k towing miles. I tow with it. My b2 and ranger are what I drive outside of work.

Neither have a radio....ac....or power winderz...yet.

The ranger has cruise control because it interstates regularly.

tbh, i felt like the cooled seats were like a convection oven for farts.

how heated seats/wheel are something I wouldn't go back to not having. There's nothing as enjoyable as remote starting the truck and having a warm seat/wheel when I get into it on a cold ass morning

I always change my shirt and throw a towel on the lower seat cushion before I leave work (these work trucks are dirty, mine isn’t). The towel pretty much stops the convection feature, but it still stays cool. The back still cools nice, and that’s what I really liked. No more 100+ degree back sweat.
