Orielly's and Napa are the only places where I live. Napa could not find one with my wheel base and Oriell'y's had no refferences with wheel base so I got the wrong one. Any sources for high quality replacements online or a verification on what part # I need for possible cross referencing would be greatly appreciated as my truck is apart and I need it back. Thanks for your help.

The Ford dealer nearby wanted $800 for just the part! I got worried cause I bought that '96 for a whopping $500. Found one for $140 from a local Carquest that fit perfectly. Wasn't such a difficult repair and well worth it. At the time I had a Leer canopy with a sleeping platform and any time I filled the tank the smell of gas was too strong to get a good night's sleep! When I changed mine I made sure to spray the 6 bolts holding the bed on with penetrant the day before. I was able to simply prop the bed up on one side without removing it completely. Although, if you have time it's nice to pull the bed and do a bit of cleaning/rust/mud removal while you're at it. Good luck!

can you hunt around in here for the proper stuff?

Thanks for the link, seems like a good site but offered no description of the part. There are many cheap replacements out there that are inferior quality and will fail in a year or two. I would like to know how the hose is constructed, i.e. 2 layers of rubber with cord reinforcement. Thanks again though for the help

I tried ordering through their website like a week ago and could not put the item in the cart. So I sent them an email and they said they were unable to find employees. I just happened upon your post with the link and thought I would give it another try and the order went through. Thanks
