More Bronco hear say.

One thing I noticed, at least on the sport I saw the other day, when the grill is completely black you cannot tell that it says "bronco". It just looks like "oooooo'. :icon_rofl:

I had to do a double take to confirm it actually was a bronco sport since there is otherwise no proud obvious ford oval. I thought it was a new honda suv or something at first. The regular broncos are at least very distinct in that respect, no mistaking one of those for anything else.

But when you put a cap on it... there is still far more room with a style side bed. I would like t camp out of the back... step side would be far more claustrophobic for me personally.

Ok ill give you that. I have a truck bed air mattress that fits over the wheel wells so its around the size of a queen bed, it definitely would be more "coffin like" in a step side, probably closer to a twin bed lol.

There’s pros and cons of both.... and then there’s this thing that looks like the back of a PT Cruiser.

The base models say Bronco in black, the letters are white on higher models.

Yea the black letters are almost unreadable. But my point was that at least with the regular bronco its distinct so you don't even need to read the letters. The sport just kinda blends in with every other mid sized suv these days. Not knocking it but I gotta agree with Jim, naming two wildly different vehicles the same thing is baffling. Why just make the bronco sport the new escape. :dunno:

My wife’s BS Badlands has white letters.

Ford hasn’t been very good with names in the past 20+ years. “Let’s change the name of our best selling car (Taurus) to the 500... then change it back when it doesn’t sell.”

Second pic Ranger is a Tremor...

If it weren't for the white letters id sware it WAS your bronco i saw the other day. It was the same weird minty color.

Escape is cheaper and for some reason some people like generic cookie cutter vehicles.

Second pic Ranger is a Tremor...

They ruined that legacy too... the orginal tremor was a audiophile truck not an offroad package...

Wouldn't surprise me if ford introduced a new Boss 429 mustang. With a 5.2 in it...

Ford has been trying to profit off of brand recognition. I've completed several times about the Mach E. I feel like Ford wanted to take on Tesla and through the Mustang name on it to appeal to more people than to gamble with an all new name. Electric mustangs should look like Mustangs. Ford should have had enough faith in that vehicle to assign it its own unique name. The Bronco Sport should have been the Maverick, and the Maverick should have been the Courier, or another name.

The Ranger one is kind of reaching, most people have never heard of it.

Tremor was also a LOADED F-150 FX4 basically to use up leftover FX4 parts in 13-14. Std cab shortbox, 3.5EB with 4.10's. My brother has one, has a full length console, seats two has like 12 cupholders AND full rear A/C with power sockets and whatever on the back of the console. Yup, in a standard cab because what else were they going to do with all them extra supercrew consoles?

I call it ol' shaky.

Mach E would have been a beautiful name for a regular Mustang that is electric.

Right? Why did they make it a wagon instead of making a real electric mustang? What the heck is going on with Ford naming things!!!! If it has nothing to do with the original name... NAME IT SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Now when they come out with a real electric Mustang it will probably the Mustang Lightning...

At least the new lightning is still kinda an f150... And the lightning name makes sense for an electric vehicle.
