Looks pretty nice, tell us about it...

Does it ever try to climb that fence and get out of the yard?

To be honest it only has the 2.5 engine. Not much power but good gas mileage for an automatic. I may eventually figure out how to navigate on this forum. Thanks for the welcome you guys

Very nice. Black looks super when it's clean, but gets dirty SOOOOO easily.

I bought this old truck to pull a utility trailer, and to kick around town in. Previous owner had it since 03. I’m the 3rd owner. The body is not the best but, so far not any fluid leaks at all. Runs really good and has ice cold a/c. I wasn’t expecting a lot since I bought it on Facebook marketplace before I even saw it. I figure it’s worth at least the $1998 I have invested. For a 98 model it will do. After getting home from the 2 hour ride home. My wife said she couldn’t keep up with me. Checking lights and all the way town to tag bulbs are working. Horn power mirrors and all working so far. Oil very clean on the stick and trans fluid looked good. Next day I took off the 1998 OE shocks and replaced with Monroe. It has new tires and brakes so. For 2k spent on it may be a good find. Time will tell I guess. For an old fart of 62 , I’m glad to get it.

Ahhh, your just a "younger". I'm older and fartier at 71 !!!
Bunch of us oldsters here.

Lol..... I may be right at home here I see. I’m old. But a youngster in here, and not a mechanic either

We youngsters need to stick together when Grumpaw and the other relics act up!

When you navigate around a little more, you’ll get a better understanding of the “mechanics” in here....

“Shade tree” Rick....

I'm NOT a relic !!! I consider myself a rare and unusual antique !

Refresh my memory, was it your grandson or was it your great grandson who actually shook hands with Lincoln....

Yuk Yuk Yuk, verrrry funny. That was a bit before my time.
But, I did help Wilber and Orville pull the propellers thru to start the engine ! :icon_rofl:
