Hello from Central Alabama. My 1st Ranger since 2004

Youth has no appreciation of fine humor from the vaudeville days....

Hey, Grumpaw, Forgive me if I overstepped into your relationship with dirtman and his hairy chickens and pickle etc.
No problem.
Dirtman is kind of the anchor around here. I think almost everyone here has picked on or was picked on by Dirtman. He kind of like the brother that is always there in time of need, but then he goes and spikes your ice tea with pickle juice.
No relationship other than he's probably welcome in any of our homes (as long as we can keep him in the basement, and away from our furnaces)
I would trust him with my Ranger, tools, anything mechanical, but would not let him in a bathroom without supervision...he has been known to mistake a shower or bathtub for a toilet.

I know the type, I know the man. He’s the first one you pick on all day long and make fun of, and he’s the first one you reach out to when you’re in a jam, or the first thing you respond to if he’s in a jam. All this has been silliness, but that’s very good to know...

I sense that in a lot of folks I’ve “met” in here, TRF. In a life where I’ve mostly worn suits and run in high circles, but also heavily involved with Industrial maintenance and construction, if the world came to an end, I’d go with the guys in the pickups and jeans....
