More Bronco hear say.

I can't confirm, but I suspect my 2003 Pontiac Sunfire also had a Getrag manual transmission. When I got the car, it had 63,000km on it (about 40,000 miles). It had 45,000 on it when I sold it. That transmission shifted like butter for the entire time I owned the car, and it took a little abuse, too.
You drove backwards a lot?

Ferris proved that doesn't work...

Though I do remember my dad pulling the speedo cable off an old lebaron, attaching the end to a drill, taping the trigger down with it running in reverse and letting it spin all day. Dunno if it worked, I thought it best to not ask any questions about whatever was going on with that car.

It had about 40,000 MILES on it when I bought it, and 45,000 MILES on it when I sold it.

Had the car for nearly three years. It was my wife's car when we bought it. Just past the first year, it blew the front seal and lost all of its oil Sat for a hear and a bit waiting for an engine, then six months after we put the engine in it, I traded it in on my first brand new car, the 2010 Honda Fit that I've mentioned a few times in other threads.

At least that's the idea till they wear out or people tear them up LOL. Saw one a while back somewhere that had no friction material left just rivets, could only imagine how that friction plate looked...YIKES!!
It will buff out....

lol So, the clutch was shot, and you're STILL blaming the transmission? I'm going to go out on a limb, here, and suspect that the problem WASN'T faulty design, or anything like that. I'm guessing that (ESPECIALLY since the clutch failed again in less than 800 miles), you don't know how to use a clutch.

The clutch wasn't shot, it was slipping due to I'm guessing a hydraulic issue with the master or slave which the dealer never fixed. They put the original clutch back in after the 2nd rebuild...yes they rebuilt it twice because after the first rebuild it didn't have reverse.

If I don't know how to use a clutch how'd I get 300k+ on my 89 Mazda pickup without a clutch issue, or how my 89 Nissan D21 had 219k on it on the original clutch....if I didn't know how to use a clutch I wouldn't be driving anything with a manual transmission, thanks nice try though. The car was a daily commuter 60 miles a day, it was all highway, in no way would a clutch wear out with all highway miles that quick for one, and 2 the car had issues right off the lot with shifting and like a previously said the dealer refused to look at it up until they were forced to send a wrecker and tow it in because I couldn't get it into reverse one morning at home.

First 2 door spotted...

Stupid is... what stupid does.

Might look good in that new gray color

From that view it looks like a toy, maybe an RC.

Why would ford put limo tint on? Thats a good point, it might be a toy.

Unless someone took the time to add the shadows for the door handle etc who know just relase it and disappoint us ford

Found this on that Bronco6G.com.....so may be real...
