Hello all.
Im working on finishing up this Skyjacker 4inch lift on a ‘94 4x4 Ranger. It worth mentioning I have installed a single piece drive line and have swapped in an FX4 31 spline ranger axel.
Anyhow, I have the new leafs and axel bolted up and I am concerned the pinion to driveline angle is in correct. It’s probably not worth getting upset over or even able to reply be measured or checked until I complete the install and get it on the tires, on flat ground.
So maybe some folks who have done an install using these components, or similar, could offer their experience.
Thanks folks!

Did the kit come with those shims? Cause if anything they are correcting the pinion angle up too much from the looks of it. And fix your u-bolts...

My concern is that the pinion is up too much, It’s difficult to tell from the pictures. the shims were included with the leaf kit. The ubolts are only hand tight at the moment, going to fasten and straighten everything up then reevaluate.

You probably need to remove the shims, or even reverse them...

Like 85 ranger mentioned, the angle of the driveshaft at the transfer case going down, should be the same as the angle of the driveshaft at the pinion going up.

It sure looks that way to me Dirtman, the rear pinion certainly appears to be facing significantly upward. Thinking I might fool around with removing them and rechecking the fit.
