BlackBII's white ranger

Wouldn't you want the steering links to be equal lengths as the beams? Otherwise I don't see the advantage to going to all the trouble you are?

That would be the ideal way to set up the TTB. I'm going with the super runner k-link setup so that I can run straight tie rod ends with no bends in them, and because I'll mostly be doing slow crawling with this rig, and not any high speed desert running where bump steer would be more of an issue. The shocks I have also only have about 9" of travel, so I think this setup should work well enough.

4x4Junkie runs this setup and says it's good enough. But yes, it's not perfect geometry.

That looks really good! :icon_thumby:

Soooo

I'm gonna need you to make duplicates of all your suspension changes so that I can put them on mine lol :D

Thanks :D

I'm throwing some paint on them now and will get it all buttoned up tomorrow with lock nuts. :icon_thumby:

Sitting a little low in the back.

The steering works great though. :icon_thumby:

Cut off all the spring hangers and started cleaning up the frame.

The spring hangers were in okay shape but I figured I'd replace them now and hit the whole frame with POR15

New spring hangers and some more paint

Also some new spring pads and shock mounts. The factory ones had a few cracks in the welds.

Just when I think I am starting to make headway on mine you remind me of what I need to do yet. Both rear spring hanger brackets don't look hot on mine and I think one shackle needs replaced.

Looking good though, that frame looks new with paint on it. :icon_thumby:
