Hey guys just bought another 89 4x4 2.9 ranger that Im doing a 5 speed and manual t case swap on. I am in dire need of pressure plate and flywheel bolts and cant find then anywhere. My ford dealer was able to tell me the part numbers but nobody sells them that I can find. Can anybody here point me in the right direction?

Can't find any part numbers, but here's a pic.

Flywheel bolts are M10x1.0 and about 45mm long

Pressure plate are M8x1.25 and about 15mm long with a lock washer

You could pick some up at an Ace hardware, just be sure to get 12.9 grade

So best I could find is grade 10.9 which has to be special ordered through fastenal. But I went to the ARP website and found that they sell a m8x1.25-16 with lock washer for a nissan KA24 so looks like I can just use those. But for the flywheel the closest I can get is an m10x1 with a under head length of about 30mm so im wondering if being too short would be an issue. Ive read that the 93-97 4.0 flywheel bolts will work, and they are about 23mm long? What about the flexplate bolts currently on my 2.9 I havent removed them but will they work on my flywheel? I assumed that they would be shorter as well because of different thickness between the flywheel and flexplate.

Being too short will be an issue. The 45mm bolt sticks out the back of the flywheel a mere 15mm or so; which means 30mm would barely thread into the crank.

I found them on Fastenals site

Fastenal Part No. (SKU): 11113398

Yea I ordered those from fastenal yesterday just worried that its grade 10.9 vs 12.9 being that its holding on my flywheel I dont want it to come flying off.
