Stuck open fuel injector

My first problem is that I don't know where the ECM is located. I will BING it and see what I can find.

did you locate the PCM?

engine bay firewall, below the cowl line, off center to the left, looks like a rectangular hard drive inserted into the firewall, the harness leads away from it to your right.

Yeah, I'm blind as a bat.:icon_twisted: Started looking, and there it was, plain as the nose on my face.
I took a probe light, and hooked it to the two injector wires, and started the engine. The light was steady on, so that tells me that the ECM is screwed.
So I ordered a rebuilt unit from Flag Ship One, with a lifetime warranty, so I'll see. I really don't want to give up on this truck, since I have a utility bed mounted, and I can't find any new mid size trucks like the Ranger that have a single cab. Everything seems to be crew cab.
Thanks for all the help,

CZ

Just for closure, in case someone in the future has the same problem, it turned out to be the ECM. I bought a used one and plugged it in. and I'm back in business again.
That was a lot easier that replacing injectors.:yahoo:
