I was running 3" Duff coils and my 31s rubbed when turning. I put F-150 spacers under them and was fine. Now that I upgraded to 6" SJ springs and extended RAs, they rub on the rear of the fender-well when flexed and turned.

Needless to say, I need to trim a little before I get 33s.

not trying to sound like an ass, but know your roll.

31's will NOT fit on a 4wd Gen 1 Ranger or BII. I even installed 4.0 Ranger coils(gave me 1" of lift) and they still wouldnt fit.

Well, you succeeded in being an ass. If you read my posts in this thread, you would see that I already admitted that I was wrong.

I have 31x11.50s on my '86 w/6.5" of suspension lift and I still rub from time to time.

Yup. I am running 6" of lift on my BII and I rub occasionally when turning real tight and when turning and flexing. I also have extended radius arms.

I know I cant ban you, I was just taking a cheap shot at you, as you did me.

don't take me personal, I have never had a problem with you. I am just getting to where I don't put up with idiots crap on the forums lately.

So a small mistake of me getting the sizes of the 3rd gen and the 1st&2nd gen fenders is "idiot crap"?
Thats why multiple people post on threads. To verify information.

mjones, It doesn't matter what forum site you go to, there are always going to be jerks that want to start a fight. Sometimes people are just trying to be funny and get mistaken for being otherwise.
I sometimes find it very difficult to not go postal on some people here (mostly mods). I work VERY hard at just letting it go.

If you guys wouldn't mind giving back my thread and letting people answer my questions again.

if you're going to act 3 go back to preschool and fight about your gram crackers their not here

thank you

p.s this is going to be strictly street and mudding truck so i'm not worried to much about flexing and turning at the same time so will i be ok?

But I like gramcrackers :icon_rofl:

Anyway, so far it looks like you have a bunch of people saying the 31's will fit... and two (or three?) saying they wont. I'd be confused as hell at this point if I was you.

:black_eye:

I don't see how It would be possible. I also wouldn't take an unlifted truck mudding.
Why are you so against lifting the truck?

i am a little :icon_confused: but i think for what i'll use it for they'll fit but i'm waiting for a deffinite.

no i'm going to lift but i'm asking if a 2" body lift will be enough for a while since i've got school and can't afford the 6" suspension lift i want to go with the body lift. and it won't be bad muddin but i live in a farm community and 80% of the roads from my house to town are mud so i'd like something a little better in the mud

Thanks

p.s i like gramcrackers too :woot:

A guy I know has 29" tsls on his stock bII. It looks good and does pretty good in the mud. I'll see if I can find a pic.

1st gen 31"

Sorry, that is the only pic that I have. They scrub very little, and it works.
