Dana 44 SAS 2004 Ranger

its tough to tell in the pics, but it looks like your shifting the axle and wheelbase forward a bit...

if it is you have room to go back 1-1.5 inch on the rear mount and it may be key for travel cycle.

It is pushed forward about 2-3 inches. Well see what happens with the add a leaf, I got the short spring, might have to get the long add a leaf as well. Not much room in the rear to move the mount back because of the body mount and the hangers are outboard of the frame. Gussets and some plate for the front rectangle coming soon too. Going to run a 5x135 to 6x5.5 spacer in the rear to match the front.

Any reason why u didn't go with the rancho 44044 wagoner springs? They would provided more arch.

Couldn't you have used the more arched springs and mounted the axle on top of the spring?

Not a fan of spring under setups, also wasn't really feeling cutting and welding to the cast webbing even if I were to change it to spring under.

well.

not sure who bought the cyclegrip truck....

but if you have any kind of horsepower, your springs wont have a snowballs chance in hell....i kept folding em up like cheap lawnchairs with a 60 and a lil better then 300 hp...so i went to a shorter chevy rear spring, and may end up with a bronco spring before i am done.

but like i said....the waggy style fronts had a high degree of variance for some reason depending on when/where bought...so...

dont horse on it till you play with the leaf pack.
