My 91 Ranger the stRanger


Man that looks great! Im glad its rollin! I just took mine to get a new trans so I can drive. The 351 mght pass up the 302 swap. That bed is killer too!

Fawkin sweet! What did the engine come out of. My buddy has been trying to talk me into a 351w swap for years now. Still not certian if I want to though. I like my 4.0.

I just had an eargasm. Was it worth the time and effort??? :-)

So far yes. It's really fun to drive, everywhere lol. I wanted a new engine and it was this or a rebuilt 4.0
I'm glad I went this route
 
Thats a nice sound,and real responsive! I hope mine turns out that good when the trans comes back

can i ask you if you hooked up you factory tach,and if so how did you do it? im trying to get mine to work with the 5.8 but not sure what to hook up where

I got rid of the stick cluster. But on the back of my gauge cluster there was a spot for "v8" tach input. I'm not entirely sure how to make it work, I'd ask rangersvt
 
If i remember correctly, if you pull the tach out of your instrument cluster, there is a selector switch on the back for the gen 2 rangers. Its been a long time (10+ years) since I've done one...

some are switch the others you just move the wire over. it will be 6 or 8....follow the tracer back
 
I dont think the power tank can match a York. Besides, the York won't run out of supply...
