1997 Ranger 2WD Turbo - M5OD-R1 weak point?

Run the M5od until it breaks. If it breaks, you can look for an upgrade, but don't get yourself worked up yet. I have no concerns running my M5od behind my supercharged 3.0, and I'm probably around the same hp you want to run and more torque. Plus, I have huge sticky tires that aren't easy on the drivetrain.

250 is easy. Trust me.

I know, the guy up there must not have a 2.3T.... Lmao

That's what I like to hear, from what I hear some people say they're bulletproof and others say they fall apart within a week! Either way I don't mind, I'll get a new transmission if need be... Until then I'm running the stock tranny with the six puck clutch and pressure plate. I'm just going to have my flywheel resurfaced by my "Guru"!

thanks guys!!!
